About the Convene Training + Resilience Community
Convene is a skill building and resilience community for government, nonprofit, human service agencies and associations founded by Josh Dye.
While training at conferences across the country for the past 10years, Josh noticed a few problems plaguing the sector.
- High rates of stress, burnout and staff turnover.
- Not enough support, camaraderie and community for professionals doing such emotionally draining work.
- Budgets that severely limit access to high-quality training for staff. Many agencies can only afford to train a small portion of their people, leaving many without the learning opportunities they need to be successful and feel supported by their employers.
Convene was created to solve those problems.
First, when an agency joins, it includes everyone on their team for a flat, affordable fee ($999/year). No more tough choices about who gets to attend a needed training. Second, everyone gets support and camaraderie through the interactive forums and small group coaching sessions. Third, the skill-building webinars and in-person training opportunities each month will keep human service professionals sharp, motivated and growing.
